Soft Rock started out as an experiment -- we were curious how stripped down and minimal we could make a film. We had just come off a series of unfulfilling projects and were doing some soul searching. 

We drove to the cheapest place we knew we could film (Tucson, AZ), wrote a treatment and filmed for five days.
